A flexible short course for anyone who want to learn a little more about pottery.

In this 5 weeks course you will learn varied shaping methods in hand-building and throwing and surface treatment techniques using sculpting tools, found objects and decorating slips. In the last session, you will glaze all your pieces you decide to keep. You have at least 8 glazes to choose from.

If you are more advanced, please talk to mizuyo as this course is open and flexible so that you get to explore your interest and skills.

The material and firing costs are not included in the course fee. If you would like to keep any of your pieces, the charge for this is calculated on the weight (68p per 100g soft clay) . If your work is big/tall/flat there may be an additional charge for the space that takes up in the kiln.

This course runs for 2.5 hrs on Saturday mornings, for 5 weeks:
